The Reveal on December 1
What makes
a great name.
Rooted in the Bay
The water, the history, the heat. Something that could only belong to Tampa.
Built for a jersey
Short, loud and easy to chant from the upper deck.
Made for her
A name a girl in the stands would be proud to wear.
Tampa's own
Not a name another team already uses.
She sees it.
She becomes it.
The name you suggest is the one she'll see on the jersey, on the court and in the stands. Help make it hers.
When will the name be revealed?
We'll announce the team name on December 1.
Who can suggest a name?
Everyone is welcome to take part! Submit your team name suggestion.
Can I suggest more than one name?
Absolutely! You can submit as many team name suggestions as you'd like.
Be there
from day one.
Be part of UPSHOT Tampa before the first tip-off, and be in the building when the new name hits the court.
Get The UPdate.
